An initiative of CMSR Foundation – a nonprofit Trust based in New Delhi, this festival is poised to become the largest congregation of young minds in India. According to Narender Yadav, Festival Director, "There are fantastic young minds with wonderful ideas and passion for cinema who are being trained in hundreds of colleges and institutions in the country but their work hardly gets showcased at big festivals.

‘U Special Campus Film Festival' is going to be an exclusive platform for college students to showcase their work, meet senior filmmakers, get hands on training and network. The fest is a creative platform for the next generation of filmmakers to tell their stories, inspire hope and provoke change through film-making.”

The first edition of the festival is likely to be organised in March 2016 in several prominent institutions and colleges in New Delhi. Call for Entries will be announced by December 15th, 2015.
